Fussy & Fancy #118

I think the heat got the better of me! I totally forgot to put my card in for publishing before we went on holiday! Not good...

And, I have to show off something else too... my new puppy!! She's 11 weeks old in this picture, taken a couple of weeks ago. She's the cutest and most charming little thing, and she brings so much joy to our lives. She's a little rascal too, like most youngsters are. She's got REALLY sharp teeth and every time we turn our back, she finds something to chew on that isn't one of her toys ;) And believe me, this princess has a lot of toys! Funny how my new shoes still is better to chew on... 

She's a mix between Red & White Irish Setter and Finnish Lapphund. 

Fussy and Fancy #104!

Kind of a quick post from me today, as I'm totally swamped with work these days. I've rarely been so busy as I have been the past two months or so, and it seems to just get crazier the closer to christmas we get. I love my job, but I must admit, I'm counting the days until the holidays!

It's time for the Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge #104! This time the challenge is super-easy: CHOCOLATE! It'll run for a full 4 weeks, as the DT is taking some time off to be with family. And maybe catch up on some DT work too?

I coloured "Snow" with my ProMarkers, and used the new Vintage Frost Basics from Maja Design.

Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge #100!!

Today it's time for the Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge #100! And the theme is a nice and easy one - celebration!

I've made a card for my daughters birthday, since her birthday is today! Imagine - 15 years since she was born. It doesn't seem that long ago... :o

I've coloured this beautiful Saturated Canary image with my ProMarkers and actually, my first set of Copics!!! The brown colours are copics, and my first attempt using them. I do think that Copics have some nice shades that ProMarkers doesn't have. I love the fact that they can be combined :) The pink is ProMarker, but I forgot to write down the colours.

The stamp is Saturated Canary - Nevaeh. She was actually the first SC rubberstamp I bought, and suddenly I realised I haven't even used her on a card yet! YIKES!

I coloured her with my ProMarkers. Papers are from Bildmalarna.

Fussy & Fancy Frida Challenges #94

Finally weekend! And you know what friday means... (at least every other friday) - a new challenge over at Fussy & Fancy!

This forthnight the challenge is "Back to school"! Very appropriate as my kids went back to school this week :)

This forthnight I've made a school timetable for my oldest daughter, for her to hang on her wall. I've also used some kind of cork-sheet with adhesives on the back, so she can hang up info from school, pictures or other things.

I coloured up two cool Kenny K - images with my ProMarkers to go with it :)

Jeg har laget en eske med easelcard på toppen. Som base har jeg brukt en Go Kreate - die.

I've made a box with an easelcard on the top. I've used a Go Kreate-die as cardbase.

Tilda from the newest collection. I've used frantage on the anchor, and glued on some shells.

Tilda is coloured with ProMarkers. The border is made with a Martha Stewart punch.

DT Fussy and Fancy #90

Det er fredag, og på tide med en ny utfordring hos Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge! Denne gangen er utfordringen enkel - Bling It Up!!

It's friday, and time for a new challenge over at Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge! This time it's a really easy one - Bling It Up!

Her er mitt bidrag denne gangen. Jeg har laget et konfirmasjonskort til min datters venninne, og har brukt et av de nydelige digi-stemplene fra Saturated Canary. Jeg har funnet denne bretteteknikken i bloggland et sted for en stund siden.

Here's my card this forthnight. I've made a confirmation card for my daughters friend, using one of the beautiful digi-stamps from Saturated Canary. I've found this folding-technique somewhere in blogland a while ago.

Jeg har brukt halvperler og midt i sløyfen har jeg brukt en perle fra Live and Love Crafts. Blomster fra WOC og Kort og Godt. Pyntebær fra Magnolia. Hjertet er også fra LLC.

I've used halfpearls and in the center of the ribbon is a pearl from Live and Love Crafts. Flowers from WOC and Kort og Godt. Berries from Magnolia. The clay heart is also from LLC.

Motivet er fargelagt med ProMarkers.

Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge #86!

Hi everyone! I hope you had a wonderful easter, I know I did! And a bit too much chocolate...

Today we're back with a new challenge for you over at Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge blog, and this forthnight we sure have a fun challenge: Use a faux technique!

There are plenty to choose from, and if you go to the Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge blog, you can see some wonderful examples on what faux techniques to try out. Or maybe you have an idea yourself you'd like to try?

Here's my card, and I've used the faux chalkboard technique to make my happy birthday sentiment.

 The cardbase are made from a Go Create die, and Tilda is coloured with distress inks. 

To create the faux chalkboard, I've embossed with white powder on smooth, black bazzill, and distress with white Versa Color. 

DT Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge #84

Hello everyone!

Today I'm back with my DT-card for the Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge. This week our theme is a simple one - FLOWERS! Hope to see you join in on this forthnights challenge :)

This is my DT-card. I've used a beautiful stamp from Make it Crafty, and my cardbase is a die from Go Create. The image is coloured with promarkers.

  

I've used several dies from Magnolia, Cheery Lynn, Whimsy and Spellbinders. Embellishments are flowers (of course!), doilie, ribbon, lace and cheesecloth. The pearlstring is homemade.

DT Fussy & Fancy - giftbag and tag

Hello everyone! I'm F I N A L L Y back. It's been an eventful month and I lost my creativity there for a while.

I hope I'm back in the game now, I sure missed my crafts :)

This time I have a giftbag and tag, made for mothersday here in Norway, and as my DT work for Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge #82. A wee bit late, but here it is :)

 The giftbag is made from kraft. I've used the beautiful vintage images from Pion Design, and flowers and lace from WOC. Swirl from Magnolia. 

 I coloured the seambinding ribbon with my promarkers (prussian).
