Saturated Canary

I made a quick retreat to my hobbyroom yesterday and started on this card. I finished it up this morning, although I should have done some laundry or prepare for new years eve... :D

I've used this cutiepie from Saturated Canary (rubber stamp), and she's coloured with promarkers.

 I've used a flowerpunch, pearls and cheery lynn butterfly-dies. A magnolia die up in the left corner with the text "congrats". I coloured some seam binding ribbon with distress stain 'broken china' and curled it up until dry. I also used lace and white satin ribbon that I coloured with distress stain 'broken china'. I don't seem to be able to make a card without my beloved liquid pearls...
 The branches are chipboard from Dusty Attic, and I sprayed them with glimmermist 'tattered leather' and painted some crackle paint 'picket fence'on them. I gave the balloons a layer of glossy accents.
Beautiful papers from Pion Design.

Challenges I'm entering my card in:
* Saturated Canary - picture inspiration (I got inspired from the beautiful colours)
* Kort O Mania - anything goes
* Card And Scrap - lag hva du vil
* Delightful challenges - anything goes

Don't forget my celebration candy.... you can find it here :)

I wish all my fellow crafters a happy new year!!

Final christmascard

Reminder: Join in on my candy in celebration of my DT-spot over at Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge! :)

I think this will be my final christmascard for 2012...And I didn't even use a traditional christmas image! But, this cool girl from Kenny K fits the recipient so well, I had to use her. Besides, she's one of the 5 digistamps I won over at the Kenny K Krafty Krew challenges just before christmas, and I had to colour up one of my new stamps! :D

Image coloured with promarkers. I put stickles 'star dust' on her wings.

 Papers from Maja Design. The snowflakes and the Tim Holtz on the edge snow flurries are cut from kraft. I painted them with white gesso and added diamond glimmer mist. The flowers from WOC got som homemade glimmermist (made from distress ink 'aged mahogany' and 'vintage photo'. I also dabbed them with distress stain 'picket fence'. Berries and swirl from Magnolia.

 The inside. The panels on the left are only attached on each side, so I can slide som money behind them. This card also serves as a christmas present...
The back. Simple as always :)

Challenges I'm entering my card in:

* Delightful challenges - Anything goes
* Deep Ocean Challenge Blog - Santa is coming to town
* Nordsalten Hobbyblogg - Something new (my image is new, so is the snow flurries die)
* Cardmaking mamas - It's the holidays
* Kort O Mania - anything goes

Tim Holtz Configuration Print Tray

I've seen a lot of these Tim Holtz configuration boxes in blogland this fall, and I decided to make one for myself. I've used stuff from Tim Holtz, Prima, Melissa Frances amongst others. I've put a thin layer of white gesso paint over the design papers and the TH tissue tape.

Magnolia snowman

Here's a christmas card I made for a little boy who's very, very special to me.

The front is a shakercard, and I've used tiny, clear beads inside it. The star-tag is made with spellbinder dies, and I've used a stamp from North Star Stamps on it, which has a lot of christmas-related words. Used stickers alphabet to write the boys name on the tag.

Because of the gelatin window, I couldn't seem to show the effect, but I have put stickles - star dust on the snowmans cap.

 The inside is something I've never tried, but wanted to try.. it's a pop-up card! Quite a bit of work, but I really enjoyed making this one :)

 Everything's coloured with distress inks, and I've used papers from Maja Design.

Challenges I'm entering my card in:
* Nordsalten Hobbyklubb - Lag et 3D prosjekt
* Magnolia Down Under - christmas bingo (Snowflake, glitter/stickles and Doo-Hickey dies)
* Midweek Magnolia - when the snowman brings the snow
* Tildas Town - celebrate christmas

Magnolia gift-tags

A while back One Trykk had a challenge going of making tiny cards in the size 1 1/4" x 4 1/4". I had meant to join in and make gift-tags, but never got around to it.

Today I sat down and made the first four gift-tags. Using Mini-Magnolia, coloured with promarkers. Papers from Pion and Panduro. The red papers inside the red tags are from 3ndy Design.

The snowflakes are cut out using MS punch. I put on glue n seal and dipped them in white glitter to make them sparkle. These didn't take too much time, and I think they worked out nicely :) I used a slim borderpunch too.

Challenges I'm entering my card in:
* I love promarkers - anything goes
* 2 Sisters Challenge Blog - Christmas sparkle
* Papiravisen - anything goes
