Saturated Canary - sommer!

Nå er det herlig vær her! I går var det 33 grader i skyggen på terassen, nesten for varmt, hvert fall for valpen her i huset. Ser at farten er lavere og lekeøktene kortere på dagtid. Hun tar igjen det tapte ved sengetid, da er det kjøligere...

Har kost meg litt på hobbyrommet, scrappelysten kommer og går litt nå om dagen, det er vel på grunn av både valp og varme tenker jeg :)

Har laget et Easelkort med base av en Go Kreate-die. Brukt sommerlig motiv fra Saturated Canary, fargelagt med ProMarkers, og papirer fra Maja Design.

Fussy & Fancy #118

I think the heat got the better of me! I totally forgot to put my card in for publishing before we went on holiday! Not good...

But here it is, my card for the 118th Fussy & Friday challenge!! The challenge is sponsored by Fresh Brewed Designs, hop over to the blog and look at the amazing creations my teammates have made!

And, I have to show off something else too... my new puppy!! She's 11 weeks old in this picture, taken a couple of weeks ago. She's the cutest and most charming little thing, and she brings so much joy to our lives. She's a little rascal too, like most youngsters are. She's got REALLY sharp teeth and every time we turn our back, she finds something to chew on that isn't one of her toys ;) And believe me, this princess has a lot of toys! Funny how my new shoes still is better to chew on... 

She's a mix between Red & White Irish Setter and Finnish Lapphund. 

Magnolia wedding

Etter en lang pause er jeg (delvis?) tilbake... Har vært alt for stille her på bloggen, men slik ble det... Har byttet jobb i samme bedrift, og har fortsatt den gamle jobben. Så jeg jobber egentlig dobbelt frem til hun som er ansatt for å ta over min gamle jobb begynner. Derfor er det kjempetravelt, og kortlagingen måtte ta en pause...!

After a long break I'm (partly?) back... It's been way too quiet on my blog, but that's how it is... I've switched jobs in the same firm, and I still have the old job. So, I'm working double until the one we hired to take over my old job starts. That's why I'm super busy, and crafting had to take the back seat...!

Jeg måtte bare få laget et kort nå. Et bryllupskort med nydelige Tilda, og Edwin fra London-kolleksjonen. Han er jo ingen brudgom, men synes han passer godt likevel :) Papirer fra Maja Design, selvsagt.

I just had to get a card made now. A weddingcard using beautiful Tilda, and Edwin from the London Collection. He's no groom, but I still think he fits well. Papers from Maja Design, of course. 

Også har jeg fargelagt med copics!! :o Ja, jeg har faktisk kjøpt meg et par håndfuller med copics, jeg måtte bare få prøvd dem. Liker dem godt, men jeg må trene mer. Det aller første motivet jeg fargelagt er ikke publisert enda, men de er alle fargelagt i løpet av et par dager uansett :)

Oh, and I have coloured these with Copics!! :o Yep, I've actually bought a couple handfulls of copics, I just had to try them out. I like them a lot, but I have to practise a lot more. The very first stamp I coloured with them is't published yet, but they've all been coloured within a couple days anyway.

Wee Stamps - Hopeful

Denne gangen har jeg laget et kort med nydelige Wee Stamps - Hopeful, fargelagt med ProMarkers. Ble lett for meg, med skissen hos Sketchy Colors og fargeutfordringen hos Hjerteboden ;)

This time I've made a card with the beautiful Wee Stamps - Hopeful, coloured with ProMarkers. Got easy this time, with  the sketch over at Sketchy Colours, and the colourchallenge over at HJerteboden ;)

De to store, oransje blomstene er laget med dies fra Magnolia med kaffefilter som papir, og farget med glimmermist. Krøllet de mens de var våte og lot de tørke. Små epler fra Live and Love Crafts. Papirer fra 6 x 6 pad Maja Design "Walking in the forest".

The two big orange flowers are made with dies from Magnolia with coffeefilter as paper, and coloured with glimmermist. I curled them while wet and let them dry. Small apples from Live and Love Crafts. Papers from the 6x6 pad Maja Design - Walking in the forest.

Edwin

 Her er et kort jeg har laget denne uka. Har hatt flotte Edwin liggende en stund, og nå var det på tide å få laget et kort med han.
Edwin er fargelagt med ProMarkers og kortbasen er en Go Kreate Die.
Ellers har jeg brukt seambinding bånd fargelagt med ProMarker og sprayet med hjemmelaget glimmermist. Blomster og flere dies (sjekk min nye sommerfugl borderdie fra Joy Crafts! Ny favoritt, denne skal jeg bruke mye!!)

Here's a card I've made this week. I've had handsome Edwin lying there for a while, and it was about time I coloured him up.
Edwin is coloured with ProMarjers and the cardbase is a Go Kreate-die.
I've used seambinding coloured with ProMarkers and homemade glimmermist. Flowers and several dies (check out my new butterfly borderdie from Joy Crafts! New favourite, going to use this a lot!!)

Cute Tilda

To innlegg på en dag! Har ikke vært mye på hobbyrommet denne måneden... været har vært for bra til det :) Men i dag fikk jeg slappet av på hobbyrommet, og har laget et kort til med nydelige Tilda.

Two posts in one day! I haven't been in my craftroom much this month... the weather has been too good :) But I got to relax in my craftroom, and have made a card with sweet Tilda.

Tilda is coloured with ProMarkers. I've used Frantage here and there (Shabby white and aged rose). The chipboard heart-buttons have a coat with gesso and crackle paint - rock candy.

Jeg har laget en eske med easelcard på toppen. Som base har jeg brukt en Go Kreate - die.

I've made a box with an easelcard on the top. I've used a Go Kreate-die as cardbase.

Tilda from the newest collection. I've used frantage on the anchor, and glued on some shells.

Tilda is coloured with ProMarkers. The border is made with a Martha Stewart punch.

Sommerkort med Kenny K

SOL! Endelig skinner sola etter en våt og trist juni :) Jeg har tenkt på et kort hele uka, etter jeg så skissen hos Sketchy colors forrige søndag. Men, som så ofte før, hverdagene kom og gikk uten at jeg fikk gjort annet enn å fargelegge et Kenny K-motiv. På mandag så jeg at Kreativ Scrapping (som jeg har fått super service fra, forresten!) har en utfordring om ferie + bingo, og dermed falt kortet på plass i løpet av noen timer i går etter jobb :)

SUN! Finally sunshine after a wet and grey June :) I've had a card in mind all week, after seeing the sketch over at Sketchy colors last sunday. But, the days came and went and I had no time to make the card, except colouring in a Kenny K-motive. On monday, I saw that Kreati Scrapping (who's given me excellent service, by the way!) has a challenge going called vacation + bingo, and with that in mind, my card just fell in place during a few hours yesterday after work :)

Motiv fra Kenny K (fargelagt med ProMarkers), blonde fra Kort og Godt, bling fra Live and Love Crafts. Diverse blomster, perler, seambinding bånd farget med glimmermist, hjemmelagde pins, osteklut og metallhjørnet er embosset med Fran-tage. Tekst laget med Dymo. Alle panelene er sydd (jeg må få tak i tykkere sytråd!!)

Motive from Kenny K (Coloured with ProMarkers), lace from Kort og Godt, bling from Live and Love Crafts. Kenny K passer så godt til kort ment for tenåringer. Så greit å ha noen kort ferdige når eldste-jenta plutselig kommer og sier "du mamma... er bedt på bursdag i kveld jeg, og skulle hatt et kort. Kunne du ha laget et?" Som om jeg visper sammen et kort på en times tid, liksom!

Kenny K is perfect for teenage-cards. So handy to have a few cards finished when the oldest girl suddenly says "Eh, mom... I'm invited to a birthday tonight, og want a card. Could you make one?" As if I whip up a card in an hour!

My card this time is a confirmationcard a colleague ordered, with the lovely papers from Maja Design  Vintage Spring Basics.

Stempelet er et digistempel fra Saturated Canary og hun heter Sabrina. Dyktige Krista lager de mest herlige stempler å fargelegge!

Jeg har brukt Fran-tage rundt kantene på både bilde og tekst. Blomstene fra WOC har jeg farget litt med ProMarker - Pastel blue og sprayet med hjemmelaget glimmermist av vann og Opalite. Pyntebær fra Magnolia og Kort og Godt. Shabby Seam binding og perlestreng fra Live and Love Crafts.

The  stamp is a digi from Saturated Canary and she's called Sabrina. The talented Krista draws the most wonderful images to colour!

I've used Fran-tage around the image and text. The flowers from WOC are coloured with my ProMarker - Pastel blue and sprayed with homemade glimmermist of water and Opalite. Berries from Magnolia and Kort og Godt. Shabby Seam Binding and pearl string from Live and Love Crafts.

Farger/Colours:

Skin: Coral - Sunkissed pink - Blush - Baby pink - Mulberry - Pink carnation. 

Hair: Tan - Champagne (F). 

Dress: Arctic blue - Pastel blue - Tan - March hare - Blender.

Her er mitt bidrag denne gangen. Jeg har laget et konfirmasjonskort til min datters venninne, og har brukt et av de nydelige digi-stemplene fra Saturated Canary. Jeg har funnet denne bretteteknikken i bloggland et sted for en stund siden.

Here's my card this forthnight. I've made a confirmation card for my daughters friend, using one of the beautiful digi-stamps from Saturated Canary. I've found this folding-technique somewhere in blogland a while ago.

Jeg har brukt halvperler og midt i sløyfen har jeg brukt en perle fra Live and Love Crafts. Blomster fra WOC og Kort og Godt. Pyntebær fra Magnolia. Hjertet er også fra LLC.

I've used halfpearls and in the center of the ribbon is a pearl from Live and Love Crafts. Flowers from WOC and Kort og Godt. Berries from Magnolia. The clay heart is also from LLC.

Saturated Canary

WooHoo! Easter-break! Just came home from work, and I have a week off! I hope I'll get some crafting done :)

Here's a card I made this week, using the Maja Design March Mood Board:

I used the beautiful Maja Design papers, and an image from Saturated Canary, coloured with distress inks.

Final christmascard

I think this will be my final christmascard for 2012...And I didn't even use a traditional christmas image! But, this cool girl from Kenny K fits the recipient so well, I had to use her. Besides, she's one of the 5 digistamps I won over at the Kenny K Krafty Krew challenges just before christmas, and I had to colour up one of my new stamps! :D

Image coloured with promarkers. I put stickles 'star dust' on her wings.

 Papers from Maja Design. The snowflakes and the Tim Holtz on the edge snow flurries are cut from kraft. I painted them with white gesso and added diamond glimmer mist. The flowers from WOC got som homemade glimmermist (made from distress ink 'aged mahogany' and 'vintage photo'. I also dabbed them with distress stain 'picket fence'. Berries and swirl from Magnolia.

 The inside. The panels on the left are only attached on each side, so I can slide som money behind them. This card also serves as a christmas present...

The back. Simple as always :)

Bildmalarna Christmas

Here's a double zig zag card I made the other day. The cute stamp is from Bildmalarna, coloured with distress inks. Papers from Maja Design.

Confirmation

Wow... three posts from me today! :o

Anyway, prepare for a LOT of photos.... my niece's confirmation is on sunday, and I've spent hours making her a card. And I've loved every minute of it.

For the first time I've tried to make an explotion-box, hence the abundance of pictures.... The box measures 4 x 4 inches.

 Lots of flowers from WOC. I've sprayed them with glimmermist-pearl. Stamp from Stempelglede. Butterfly-die from Magnolia. Pearl-string from Kort og Godt. I don't remeber where I bought the cross-charm...You can barely spot a doily behind the flowers... :p

 One of the sides. Swirl and a metal-butterflie bought at Hjerteboden. The metal-embellishment on the lid are made from three different metal-pieces: The back, leaves and the flower. Added a white pearl in the middle. All sides of the lid have the same embellies. I've punched the lid with a MS-punch and used a white lace behind the metal embellies.

Two of the sides. A metalcorner and die from Magnolia. The oposide sides look the same as these two. 

 When I take off the lid, this is how it looks. I made three layers. The first layer all have wonderful sentiments from Lili of the Valley. I've made hearts using spellbinder dies. The butterflies are from MS-punch.

The box inside the box... :) Lots of roses from WOC on this lid too, plus a couple of charms, pearl string from WOC, and leaves from a Cheery-Lynn die. I've put stickles - cotton candy, platinum and waterfall on the leaves. On the sides I've put a flower from a Magnolia-die and a white pearl. All the flowers are sprayed with glimmermist - marshmallow.

The lid is off. This is where she'll find the money-gift ;)

Close-up of the first layer. I've put liquid pearls - white opal and platinum around the hearts. Stickles - waterfall og the blue butterfly, and stickles - cotton candy on the pink butterfly.

Close-up of the second layer. No embellies here, and I've stamped four different sentiments directly on the designpaper on this layer.

Close-up of the third layer. I've stamped sentiments on three of them, and left space to write a personal greeting on the fourth. Liquid pearl - white opal and platinum around the heart. I've sprayed the butterflies with glimmermist - marshmallow. 

The papers used are the new "vintage summer basics" from Maja Design (I absolutely LOVE these papers!), plus pink, blue and white cardstock. Inked all the edges with vintage photo, and sentiments are stamped with archival ink - jet black.

Christmas card #7

My plan of making 3 christmas cards a month is still going strong, and here's my 7th card this year - the first card in march.

Ever since I saw these christmas stamps from Stempelglede, I knew these would look good on a card with this folding technique. I have no clue what it's called, but I've seen it all over the internet. It's a fun card to make :)

 The front. I've used glimmermist - pearl on the red roses, but it doesn't show well. I've used puffy velvet white on the tree, to make it look like snow. 

 The inside. Merry Christmas greeting, and plenty of space to write

Back. I haven't done anything here yet, as I haven't decided yet. Usually I just use my personal "handmade by"- stamp here. I took a picture to show the tag I've hidden here.
