The first christmascard in 2012

I never finished the christmascards in 2011, and decided to make them thoughout 2012 to avoid the stress of not being ready.

This is my first christmascard this year:

 Hard to see, but I've embossed the edges of the image with Rangers holographic embossingpowder. The stamp used is a snowflake from Magnolia.

 Still practising with my distress inks. It's HARD! I think this is by far the best result I've had since I bought my refills. I love colouring with them, but I struggle badly with shadows.

I have quite a few hobby-related new year resolutions this year, and one of them is to use something new and unused every time I use a card (I've bought a lot of stuff, and used only a fraction of it). New stuff used on this card: The flowers, and the slim edge punch. It's the first time I use the "postcard"-stamp (Kort og Godt), and the snowflake stamp (Magnolia) too.

Spellbinder dies (squares), stickles - star dust, liquid pearls - white opal , pearl ribbon from WOC, flowers from WOC, crackle paint - picket fence (on the snowflake charm), charms, leaf-dies from Magnolia, tag-die from Magnolia, pearls, EK Slim edge punch dotted scallop, embossed snowflakes with Rangers - holographic (around the image).
